1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tong Tin (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Tong Tin is a record-keeping and tracking tool designed to help community savings groups (commonly known as “Tong Tin” or rotating savings groups) manage their activities. The App allows users to:

• Create and manage savings groups
• Track member contributions and payments
• Record interest rate bids per round
• Communicate with group members via in-app chat
• View analytics and export reports

3. No Financial Services

TONG TIN IS NOT A FINANCIAL INSTITUTION, BANK, MONEY TRANSMITTER, OR PAYMENT PROCESSOR. The App does not:

• Hold, transfer, or process any money or funds
• Facilitate or guarantee any financial transactions
• Act as an escrow or intermediary for payments
• Provide financial advice or recommendations
• Insure or guarantee any savings or contributions

All financial transactions between group members occur entirely outside of the App (e.g., cash, bank transfer, mobile payment). The App merely records and displays information that users input.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of all information you enter into the App
• All financial arrangements, agreements, and disputes with other group members
• Verifying that all payments and contributions are made and received correctly
• Complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding savings groups
• Keeping your account credentials secure

5. Disclaimer of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TONG TIN AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any financial loss, missed payments, or disputes between group members
• Any fraud, misrepresentation, or misconduct by any user
• Any errors in calculations, records, or data displayed in the App
• Any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
• Any loss of data or unauthorized access to your account

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

6. Group Leaders

Group leaders who create and manage groups in the App are solely responsible for the administration of their group. The App provides tools for tracking but does not verify, enforce, or guarantee any group rules or financial obligations.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between group members must be resolved directly between the parties involved. Tong Tin has no obligation to mediate, arbitrate, or resolve any disputes. We recommend that group members maintain their own records outside of the App.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, for any reason, at any time, without prior notice.

9. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
